GMAT Date (booked or proposed): 2nd week of February
Target GMAT Score: 760+
GMATPrep Course:
Latest CAT Score (Prep Company):
Latest GMATPrep Score: 780 2 weeks ago
Other Information: Took the GMAT for the first time last week and scored a 730. I had planned to go through the entire OG13 and 2-4 Preptests before taking the actual test but unfortunately I slacked off and only got through 1/3 of the OG and 1 Preptest before the actual test. Plan to go through the rest of the material, along with MGMAT sentence correction guide since almost all of my errors in verbal was in SC, before a retake.

Good luck to all!

Hey guys I am also planning to give gmat in feb . I had given the 6 tests that come along with MGMAT books , but to my dissappointment I scored around 650 . Are the MGMAT tests close to the real GMAT exam . I found them to be a little harder . Whats your take on this ?..... I scored consistently around 49 in quant but around 30's in verbal .... can you please suggest something . Currently I have OG12 , GMAC verbal Review , MGMAT SC and MGMAT CR . Anything else I need to include .
Thanx in advance for your help :)

Test booked: Mar 12
Target score: 700

Last GMAT (taken 1/12) 560

I'm retaking to the test after studying only 7 weeks before , using Princeton Review. A week out I knew I would not do well but wanted to experience the exam. Glad I did! Now using Manhattan books and reinvigorated for another go!

Hi,

I would need some guidance regarding the study plan and books. I will appear for the test at end of March'13.
I am targeting 700+ score.
As of now:
I have completed MGMAT study material
Please suggest-
1. Which other books I should do to achieve the target?
for - Quant
- RC
- SC
- CR
- From where can I practice more questions for aforesaid topics?
2. When Should I start taking the tests and how many tests should I take ?
3. Which tests series (Kaplan/ MGMAT/ or anyother ) would be the best to achieve 700+ score?
4. Any other suggestions or Study plan - i should follow - Keeping in mind - I have couple of months to appear for the tests.

Thanks Much.

GMAT is like an addiction , unless you score 750- 760, it doesnot feel that you have tamed the monster.
I am confused between two approaches. One advocated by Bb of reading GMAT Fiction. Other proposed by GMATNinja that is truckloads of LSAT practice. My instinct says to try both, however only time will tell.
