One question -
The transcripts as part of teh application need to be officially signed by teh university? I applied to other univ and I had to just submit a scanned copy of originals. Is georgetown very adamant on having teh official copies with teh application?
I sent in a query and this is what I got back
"OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS/ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS
Non-U.S. Institutions
Students who have attended or graduated from a non-U.S. college or university must provide an official transcript for each year of study. It must list the course name and grades received. A degree certificate that shows the date that the degree was conferred is also required. The official grading scale of the academic institution must also be submitted. If these documents are in a language other than English, follow the instructions included in the paragraph “Translation of Required Documentation” below.
If your institution issues only one original document we will accept a copy that has been appropriately certified as a true copy by a university official. Upon matriculation, you will be required to bring your original documents to the MBA Admissions Office for verification."
Now the deciding factor for applying has beocme whether or not the school can consider teh application with copy of originals. I am in US right now and cannot send my originals back to home coutry for getting copies. Please advise if someone has an idea as in what I could do ....

You can send copies of your transcripts. Apparently your application will remain in the incomplete status until you show them the originals but this wont stop them in reviewing your file.
I faced a similar problem because my undergrad university only gives me one original transcript which i obviously cannot submit to any single school. I explained them the case and they did make an exception.
