(see my post above)

I think they release on 3/15. But that's just based on the website. If someone hears otherwise, it would be good news.

On the virtual visit today, the AdCom member noted that everyone does hear on the same day. So 3/15 it is!

It's not rolling in the same way that the CBS process is. But you can definitely still apply for R3.

thanks for the response...can you elaborate a little? So it is still rolling in a sense? Is it an advantage to submit early before the deadline?

Check out their website here. It's rolling in the sense that there are three deadlines. But it's not rolling in the sense that if you get your application in a month before the deadline, it won't be considered any earlier than someone who submits on the deadline for that particular round.

At least that was the case for R1/R2, and everything I've read makes me think its the same for R3. I've found the people at Georgetown to be pretty responsive, so you might consider sending them an email to ask whether or not there would be any advantage to submitting early in R3.

Just to update everyone on my earlier post, it appears that the admissions underestimated the number of people who would sign up to the Skype interview options. They ran out timeslots initially but I just received another interview invite and it appears that they have now enlisted the help of second year students to assist with the interview process.

Worst parking experience EVER. Even worse than NYC. If you're visiting with a car, carry ample amount of cash.

I went to the Welcome Weekend this past weekend down in DC......agreed that parking around GTown was miserable. It cost me about $50 for the day/night. Aside from the parking situation, the presentation that Georgetown put on was extremely impressive. There does seem to be a great energy within the new building

No surprise there! You couldn't pay me to drive in Georgetown, let alone park.

Was the Welcome Weekend for students accepted R1? What sorts of things did you do? Did you see/do anything that changed your impression of the program?
