Congratulations to everyone admitted!

Is there anyone here who has interviewed and the status still shows as "Interview and Review"? I believe that most of the people who have been interviewed had their status change to "Application Under Review" few days back. My status still shows as "interview and review" even though I interviewed around 17-18 days ago. I hope that doesn't mean bad news :(

Can people who have been admitted please share what their current status is?

FROM Haas Admissions Blog: Berkeley-Haas Exec-in-Residence Featured in Poets & Quants


A Poets & Quants story on how business schools tap into real-world expertise through executive fellowships featured Berkeley-Haas Executive-in-Residence David Riemer, former VP of marketing at Yahoo and a serial entrepreneur.  

Riemer, at Haas since 2008, told Poets & Quants that executive fellows at business schools are "like that friendly uncle who can give you some advice, who’s lived a little bit," adding that "People who have actually been professionals their whole lives can add a lot of value.”

Riemer holds office hours weekly, meeting with Berkeley MBA students for career coaching or to discuss innovation ideas. He told Poets & Quants that getting students to realize that their careers don’t have to follow a linear track is his toughest job. "There’s this sort of sense that their career needs to be a straight line," he said. "There isn’t a single right path."

“They have options, they want to understand the options, and business schools are playing catch-up for them to understand those options,” Riemer said in the article. "I become a bridge. I’ve definitely been putting a lot more of my focus on the emerging companies and the startups in terms of where I can provide guidance.”

Funny, my status changed within the past hour from "Interview and Review" to "Application Under Review". Not going to make any assumptions, but the application sleuthing sure is fun! :lol:

When I visited the campus back in October, they told me there's two types of WL, one with interview, one without. But they didn't say the amount of each type. So by 12/17 there are 4 possibilities - admit, reject, WL w/ interview, WL w/o interview.

I think going to "Application Under Review" from Interview and Review simply means your Interviewer submitted their report. Mine has been review since a week after my interview.

Haas is probably my top choice, but I've been kicking myself for a couple of answers in my interview. It could go either way...the little solace I have is that Stephanie Fujii has said that the interview is "rarely the deciding factor".

However, not gonna lie, I checked this thread because receiving the "talk with a current student" email spooked me! Now back to hiding and waiting...I assume if I don't hear anything by 5PM PST on Wednesday, it's done.
