­Welcome 2024-2025 Haas Part-time MBA Applicants

Flexible Online Option

For the first half of the program, you'll take core courses online from wherever is convenient for you with a mix of live classes and on-demand content. You'll join online at a set time twice a week for about half of your coursework. The rest will be completed on your own time. When you begin taking elective courses, you can either continue to attend online or come to campus for in-person instruction. This option allows you to gain the same high-quality MBA without the commute.

  • are based around the U.S. or internationally
  • are unable to commute to campus weekly
  • are active military members
  • travel frequently for work
  • are self-motivated in a virtual/home setting
  • are excited by cutting-edge classroom technology

Evenings On Campus

Take core classes on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with a 45-minute break. When you begin taking elective courses, you can choose your own class schedule from evenings, weekends, and online class offerings. A free shuttle is available from select South Bay and Peninsula locations for evening classes.

  • are able to commute to Berkeley two evenings a week
  • value an on-campus and in-person learning environment
  • are tactile learners
  • want to join campus clubs and co-curriculars
  • are distracted by a virtual or home learning environment

Weekends On Campus

Take core classes on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the first three semesters in the program. There are two 15-minute class breaks and one 60-minute break for a catered lunch. When you begin taking elective courses, you can choose your own class schedule from evenings, Saturdays (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), and online class offerings. Easy access from freeways and airports makes the weekend option convenient, especially if you live outside the Bay Area.
