Hi everyone! I don't wait to raise false hope, but I believe the invites that went out today were mostly to international applicants. Has anyone in the US (purebread, no double nationality) received an interview today?

I got one, but am applying from abroad. Maybe we get the heads up earlier because we need to figure out travel plans most likely?

Guys I just called hbs admissions and I was told this was just the first wave of invites and there will be"quite a few more" over the next two weeks. She emphasized the QUITE so let's be patient and hope for the best

For R1, I got my invite the middle of the 2nd week - and as Dee has said on her blog, invites will keep going out until the Feb. 16th.

Additionally, when I went to sign up for an interview slot, there were quite a few spots open. So all the speculation about 90% of invites going out on the first day is just that....SPECULATION. That may have been true for 2009 and 2010 applicants, but HBS is doing things very differently for 2011

So if you are still waiting for an invite, DO NOT LOSE HOPE until you get the dreaded ding email on the 16th! Best of luck to those still waiting!

Thanks so much nikki4nikki- you are keeping the hope factor alive in all of us. I am getting so disheartened.....but again keeping my fingers crossed. Would you know around when they send out invites on other days --is it around Noon EST?
