Have been watching the discussions on this forum from the sidelines for a while - but the heart stopping mail has just converted me to join GC :) Well at least something good came of it !

Heart attacks aside .... is there any guidance on when today's invites will be released .... ?

My thought is that this was sent out to all applicants because not everyone is refreshing the directors blog every day for updates, so they wanted to make sure the message was delivered to all applicants.

On February 16, all candidates not invited to interview will receive either a decision indicating that "we are unable to offer you a place in the Class of 2013" or an invitation to join our waitlist.

Could it be that Dee bolded this line in the morning e-mail to indicate that those who received the e-mail were likely to be rejected or waitlisted. Thoughts?

Don't think so. The BOLD is for people to read and understand and not flood the Admissions Office with calls on the 16th. People who got invited also got this email. This was just a general message sent to everyone.

no invite for me neither... thought I would need to wait longer as Dee's blog wrote "Tuesday AFTERNOON" but it seems today's invites have gone out?... do you think more will come up later today?

Now that the 2nd wave of invites have been released, can anyone confirm if the total number of interview slots increased from the ~420 this morning? Or, if you notice that previously listed interview slots have been removed, could you share that as well?
