We've made some important changes to our process this year regarding interview invitations and decision notification that we want to make sure you're aware of as Round 2 progresses:

* We started sending out interview invitations on February 4 and will continue to do so until February 16. Interview invitations will arrive via email.
* On February 16, all candidates not invited to interview will receive either a decision indicating that "we are unable to offer you a place in the Class of 2013" or an invitation to join our waitlist.
* Decision notification for interviewwed candidates is on March 29.

I think this year probably HBS is on a drive to become more "Applicant Friendly" and all these actions are part of that drive...

Agreed. I actually very much appreciate it (as I'm sure do others) - so much easier to manage psychologically than the GSB / Sloan "oh, you know, anytime between now and the end of March.."

Another South Asian here without invite thus far

Profile: 730/ based in Mid East/ MC with loads of high profile international engagements/mediocre undgrad gpa due to life altering circumstances which forced me to graduate early (BS from a top public undergrad in US)/ pretty solid recs including former Harvard prof.

The waiting game continues. Wish nothing but the best for all...and good luck.
