MMBMA- you know of someone who was admitted yest-tuesday?! Or is that just a hunch?

Think we should give them a call? At this stage I think it wouldn't hurt to inquire on their timing, after all many of us have decisions to make.

Has anyone contacted the admin office yet? I'm wondering if I should shoot them an email at the end of the week to try and get an update. This whole process is slowly turning from hope and expectation to anguish and borderline cruelty...
No, I don't know anyone has been admitted. But my sense is that when the admin office says they'll start admitting people by end of last week, they usually do what they say.
I guess it's really one a one by one rolling basis. I'm thinking of calling them too, this process is unnecessary, since there are only 30 of us left. They should just be very transparent.

It thought they admitted about 1000 people for their class? According to Dee's post they are at 912, but that would leave alot of open spots left and we know they are down to the nitty gritty now. According to these boards, I believe we have 8 of us still standing and waiting. I find it odd that not even 1 of us has heard anything..... do you think it is OK to call? Getting anxious and wish there was a new update for the WLer's... but then I read things that say 'do no call, follow directions'.... It is now June, we need to make plans on where we are going and starting a move to another state one way or the other. Was hoping that state would be MA.

During my visit, an adcom told me that they aim to admit about 900 so 912 is already in-line with expectation with some margins. Definitely disappointing to see that Dee had already released the prelim class profile for those of us who are still waiting. I'm also surprised to see that none out of the large percentage of wailisters here had heard anything.

Wow- so last year they ad 936...why don't they just let everyone on the WL in!! I really want to know if they have admitted any of the said 30 people left. And YES, if anyone does decide to call let us know!!!
ugh-just read dee's post. "possibly adding a few from the waitlist?" What happened to the 10-15? I find it odd no one has heard anything yet.

Do you think they will send out any ding's at this point? Or just keep everyone left in their pocket in case something opens up? I think weekly WL updates would be nice.
936 for a graduating class could be different than the admit class size for people who took time off in between year 1 and 2--the second yr could be higher. Not sure if that was the starting number, just the class of 2011 final size.
Maybe they're accounting for a handful who just completed their first year at Harvard Law or the Kennedy School or some other 3-year joint program--anyone know how those are factored in to the admit numbers?
