Hey, Rahul. I am from India aswell, and I have been offered admission too. I have also been offered admission in Ted Rogers, Ryerson university. I am confused between the two schools. Also, I am not sure if this is the right year to start MBA considering the pandemic. I have up to 16th May to make my decision regarding HEC offer. If you have any information that can be of my help, please let me know. Regarding your French language query, I am learning it from a book called Easy French Step by Step by Myrna Bell Rochester.

I received an offer as well, but now considering defer to next year due to the Coronavirus; also looks like next year they will have the MBA+ program to help us improve on French.

Hey Harsh!
I gave me Ryerson KIRA today. Wasn't particularly good. Not expecting much there. Anyway, I'm also leaning towards deferring the admission to next year but I'm not completely sure. Thanks for the book recommendation, I'm giving it a look right now.

I have had a message from Ginette from HEC Montreal; she told me that classes would be for 40 to 50 hours a week, leaving minimal or no time to do part-time job. Not doing part time job was explicitly advised to me by HEC Montreal authorities aswell. Does this limitation/restriction imply that we have to finance our lodging and accommodation aswell from savings ? Any update on how many are deferring/cancelling admission and how many are accepting it?

Hey.
Harshit here. I have an MBA admit for fall at HEC and i've accepted it. I checked with alums and part time job isnt a thing at HEC due to strict curriculum and current covid situation will kill chances of whatever was possible. So i had this info.

Regarding CAQ etc does anyone has any experience in current days if they have already applied for caq or waiting etc.

Hey.

Just go over linkedin and on hec page you can find them.
I would have to ask the alum before sharing the contact if that is fine with you!

Caq may take long time and study permit is all after caq.
Btw have you already applied caq?

Also incase you can let me know if there is any specific doubt.

Hi Harsh, Hope you are doing well! I’m an Indian candidate and planning to apply for an MBA program at HEC Montreal and Ryerson. Could you please confirm if language proficiency test is required at the time of submitting the application. I have the certificate from university stated that the medium of instruction in graduation was english.
