So no one wants to speak. never mind.
I was an INSEAD reject. Was preselected for HEC. Interviews went okay. one of the interviewers did not even look at the presentation. Though we kept conversing for 1.5 hours. The other interview was short, around 30 minutes I would say. Both of them were interested in knowing why HEC. and were keen to know whether i was focused and had chosen HEC for a reason. they even asked whether i had applied to any other schools. both of them asked what am i going to do if i don't get a job after doing my MBA from HEC.
for people who get preselected my two cents would be -
1. choose a topic that you think you can speak about non-stop. my topic was not work related. it was about a daily issue that almost everyone faces.
2. be ready with - what, why, how and if not - HEC and MBA
3. be ready with a few anecdotes that you can come up with during the conversation
These are my opinions. Will come to know on Friday if they have worked in my favour. and then you can take a cue from these
