I got an interview for MiM GE on Friday 18th. Engineering major 3.85 (top of my class), 320 GRE, applied for Big Data for Business and MiM (first preference).

My foremost and probably the only strategy would be to calm my nerves lol. I was thinking of going over my profile and identify things that might stir jury's attention. This was my first grad (and business) school application ever so I really don't have much experience with interviews. Given how spontaneous things can be, I don't think there is a better way than to introspect and reflect on one's life so far.

i got an interview on 18th November as well (Friday).
Computer Engineering (4.0 GPA) and GMAT 730.
Fingers crossed. Just have to make sure i don't screw up

My interview was mostly generic questions as well. Most of In-depth stuff they asked about was from my CV and internships. Other than that, why HEC why this program etc etc....

Hi!

I had my HEC MiM interview on 22nd. I'm not sure how it went! They asked generic, basic questions: Why HEC? Why MiM? Tell us about yourself?
The usual HR stuff, nothing challenging.
I wasn't satisfied with the interview, I was expecting tougher questions. Maybe I'm just paranoid :?

What about you guys? How was your experience?

Some very intimidating profiles here!

Background: 3.8/4 GPA in Economics (Minor in Finance), almost finished my application, only the GMAT is left which I'll be presenting in 2 weeks, expected score is 660-720. I have a decent CV, good extra-curricular activities ( Rotaract, AIESEC club member), but the thing is, I've been working in a family business the past 1.5 year (due to family emergency...) So, because of this, I'm getting both my recommendation letters from University Professors and none from my "professional experience"

Hey guys! I have my interview on Thursday (in 2 days) and the stress is getting to me. I am a French school applicant so idk what to expect. Could I ask you guys for specific questions as to what you were asked? I want to put together a solid mock interview and I'm sure it will help future applicants.

I am going for a specialisation in impact consulting so if anyone has a close project to that I would love to hear what specific questions they asked you. Also recent business questions? Hope it's not all going to be about Trump or this crazy French election

I had my interview last Monday (06/02). Unfortunately I got really ill the Sunday night before and had literally been throwing up until 5 mins before the interview, but I hope I still did sufficiently well.

As for the Qs, it really depends on your background. Some of the Qs I got were:
- Tell us about yourself?
- How did you find studying abroad at X?
- Can you describe a project from your internship at X?
- What is do you reckon will happen in the financial/consulting industries with Brexit looming? [My past experience + career goals are oriented towards those industries]
- What is your opinion on the Paris Summit regarding Environmental Standards? [This one kind of blew me away, one of the jurors was working at an NGO and probably very knowledgeable about this subject].

I'd say other than the one about the Paris Summit I did alright given the circumstances. Pretty stoked to hear back from them, but I don't know how long their average processing times/decision times are.. Fingers crossed I guess!
