I received an interview invite (posted above), but I think it was prompted because I emailed the adcom to respond to the fact that they would be holding an info session in my area with the ability to hold a few student-initiated interviews pre-application. I emailed to ask them if I should bother going to the info session, since a)I had already applied, and b)I wanted to visit the campus regardless. Jim wrote back to tell me I'd be invited to interview, so I think my initial email must have prompted them to take an initial stab at the application. Not sure how many of their applicants get interviewed, though...

Applied in R2. No interview invite yet
The adcom team top class (the best for me, the second is Booth) and the ranking are pretty kuul too. Yet to visit Bloomington tho. 
I'm not mad or anything, just curious. Is it location or what? I've met a lot of students, professors, and talked to alum. They have all been great. Kelley's facilities are also top notch. I'm not looking to start a debate, but I thought someone might have some insight on the topic.
