Nikhil, I have a doubt on the GPA conversion. As per the snap, which is from mba.com, Indians whose GPA in college is greater than or equal to 6 out of 10 (or 60%) have a 4.0 on a scale of 0-4 ?

And do colleges consider this GPA( which is on a scale of 0 to 4) while evaluating the applications or they go for absolute GPA?

No need to convert, colleges are pretty much aware about the Indian grading system.

Hi everyone, whether a 5 year work experience in indirect taxes department, govt of india ( along with 3.5 in IT industry) is detrimental during the placements in ISB/IIMs?
No, as long as you can put your experience in good light in front of the potential recruiter, it is going to help you.

I have GMAT score of 680 (Q48,V35) and 4 years experience till date. I work as management coordinator in L&T. I graduated from NIT with 7.34 CGPA and was head of many clubs in college. Do I have chance in ISB?

That you don’t have a shot at all the seats, scholarships and you get to know the result roughly a couple of months before the program starts whereas the R1 admits get a headstart. Having said that, apply when you’re absolutely ready.

ISB doesn’t give a full scholarship for round 2 applicants. You may get a partial scholarship. Full scholarships are possibly only for Round 1 applicants.
