So it is a lot dependent on how you sell your work experience and life experiences. But the GMAT score is more like a pool based cutoff factor (allegedly- but you can always cross check and find my results more to the higher majority side). The people who make it into top schools with low GMAT scores are very rare- in a class of 900+, you’ll find 5. You do the math

So summarising; there isn’t any definite average score, right? It still depends on your profile and your ability to sell yourself.

It is dependent on the score FIRST!! Then all the holistic process will matter. And regardless of what schools say, the numbers don’t lie

Reach out to me, I can surely help.
Although if you’re a reapplicant, you need substantial changes on your profile any ways like GMAT, promotion, new businesses etc

Usually I say that applying with the exact same application wouldn’t help. But, this year, the application pools were highly competitive, but if the pool is less competitive (highly unlikely this year) in the consecutive year, you stand a chance with no change on profile

many cases. We as alums don’t usually end any interview on a negative note. It is a conversation at the end of the day to get to know the other person better. :)

I doubt that. Pearson/GMAC has cancelled all the at center exams for Delhi/NCR for the past few months. inquire with Pearson or directly with the listed centers.

In that case, will a person who has made his appointment at the test centre will not be able to give his exam?

Hi, could someone help me with the below questions

Hi, could someone please share their thoughts if it would be safe to assume the R2 deadline to be 1st December as used to be the case till 2019? Planning to take the GMAT late Oct/early Nov, hope that would be fine?

I am a final year engineering student who is gonna graduate in Aug. I’m planning to take my GMAT in Nov this year. In order to join the class of 2023, do i apply to ISB this year only via EEO, or do i do it next year? Also, do i need to have a GMAT score before my first round (if i apply this year) ?

B-Tech from NIT - 7.35/10
PGDM from a Tier 2/3 B School - Did not do well because of personal issues.
Total Work Ex - 11 Years
Age - 35 Years

Appearing for GMAT in August.

Target Score - 720+

Queries -
1. Is 2nd Full time MBA considered negative?
2. As per my profile, is 720 enough to get a call from ISB?

Given that I have been involved in technical roles for product design, what post-mba goals should I have?

From what timeline I am seeing, you need to bridge the gap between B.COM end to feb. Certification wise- top notch. Work ex wise, you should at least have one promotion before this year’s application to demonstrate progression and given that KPMG values years more (arguably) you should have asked for promotion in March. If not, ask now. GMAT wise- Target a 720 (the pool became competitive this year- expected to stay that way). any experience 6 years before the point of application is futile attempt to convince the admissions team. (Seriously- I still regret not being able to put up meeting the president even though it is a pretty big deal). I do suggest add a personal extracurricular in the "society you operate" front. All in all- workable profile
