Hi Parth2497, with a score of 750 or above, one can be reasonably sure of an interview call. Final admit obviously will depend on how you perform in the interview.

Thanks.
Can you please evaluate my profile?

EDUCATION
B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (2019) CPI: 8.57/10 (80.70 %)
XIII State Board (2015) 72.92%
X State Board (2013) 89.83%

WORK EXPERIENCE
- Reliance Industries Ltd. (2019 to present) as a Contracts Engineer
- Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (3 months in 2018) as a Summer Intern
- Utileader (4 months in 2017) as a Data-Analysis Intern

Leadership & Co-curricular activities
- Documentation & Content Head at Tech-fest during College for 2017-18
- Committee member for organizing Model United Nations in 2017
Hi Parth2497, decent profile. You have not mentioned your goals post-ISB, but I guess that discussion
can wait. You have also not mentioned your undergrad school-name.

Nevertheless, since your experience is slightly on the lower side, GMAT score could indeed play a crucial role.[/quote]
Hi. My target score is 710+. Post MBA, I’d want to work in a business consulting company. I’ve completed my undergrads from Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
As my experience will be above 2 yrs, how should I go about strengthening my profile?

Wow. Marine engineer with 770.
I will not give any gyaan.
As long as you don't absolutely mess up your essays, you will get an interview invite.
Haven't talked about career goals here, just make sure your talking realistic and clear career goals post MBA.
In your case, rest is all up to your essays (and later interview) performance, from a profile point of view, very strong candidate.
Feel free to PM me in case you need any support.

Best

Let me help you understand what ISB looks for in a candidate.
1) Academic excellence
2) Impact
3) Diversity
4) Clarity of thoughts

In your profile, I notice a balance of 1&3. You have a strong GMAT score, which demonstrates your academic excellence. On the work front, 7 years of Navy experience will undoubtedly offer you an advantage in terms of diversification and presenting a unique story. You didn’t mention your post-MBA goals. ISB wants candidates to have clarity of thoughts. One must have a clear goal and purpose, say, where one sees oneself in the next 5 years. Overall you have a good profile. What’s going to matter most about your application is how you link experiential dots and make a great narrative. However, I would like to know more about your work experience (projects, impact, and career progression) to find your USPs. Feel free to PM me or hop on a callwith me for any further guidance.
Cheers!

Hello saumyas1701

Your profile is very unique due to the nature of your work experience and education.
Backed with your target GMAT score, ISB would want to definitely meet you for an interview and find out your fit and motivation to attend ISB.
That's where further information is needed to complete the evaluation. What are your career plans after ISB and why do you think you are ready now (2 years is slightly on the lower side, have you built enough achievements and impact in this period).
If you fill in that blank well, you have a decent shot.

Best

Hi saumyas1701, As Varun already said, your profile is unique, and if you demonstrate this to the adcoms, you have a chance at ISB. However, I would need more details for a more comprehensive evaluation, such as the impact you brought in two years. Your target score for ISB is perfect. Your profile has some stint of international exposure, which can help you give your profile a global perspective.

Cheers!
