Would recommend writing something which is a "unique value add". Perseverance/Resilience/Hard working/Time management are good skills to talk about but will they help you in standing out, don’t think so. That’s because majority of those applying to the school would be meticulous or good at time management. Would recommend introspecting a bit more on your professional background and personality traits/hobbies to carve out something really unique about yourself that can add value for others. This is just my opinion, there is no right/wrong answer in essays.
