I think there is commitment fees of 2 lacs (based on colloquial data) which is non-refundable.
I guess by "IIM results" you meant CAT results. If that’s what you mean, then IIM ABC release their CAT-route MBA results by mid-April afaik, after which colleges like I , L , K follow. However, ISB session generally starts from the first week of April. I would highly recommend that you double check the timelines

Hi WA@hqh1942, Your academics are good and you have graduated from BITS. The best part of your experience is that you have covered all the basic roles needed for post MBA jump to a higher managerial role. Being a BA, Ass Program Manager and Ass Product Manager, you are nicely moving towards PM role with the help of MBA. (Assuming that it is what you want). So you have a good coherent story. The areas to address will be - 1) GRE is on the lower side. Given your lower work experience, a higher GRE will be needed. Approx 327+. But if you believe you have plateaued in that, then you can apply but it will need extra ordinary effort and luck. 2) Extra Curricular post college is not mentioned, assuming its not significant, try to bring some aspect of that with some effort. 3) The profile is one which is most competitive - Male, Engineering, IT. So again, it will need better GRE and more than just career aspect.
"Can essays and other aspects of application compensate at this score" - Not much really. They are important in your overall selection, but not that significant in shortlist. Once shortlisted, they play a much more significant role.
