Hi Meethappy,
Entrepreneurship + Consulting + Healthcare + Bain + Design dual Degree = Lots of great points which will make your profile really a stand out one.

Get anything above 665+ and you are good to go. Obviously you will have to convert your good points into persuasive story during application and interview, but you can focus on getting a good score now.

Best wishes.

Hi, can some evaluate my profile and what FE score should i aim for

6 month internship at Bain (BCN)
10/12/Btech (+dual degree in B.Design) - 8.4CGPA/95%/8.3CGPA
Are you working in Bain or did you not get a PPO Meethappy?

Which college did you graduate from? How/why did you transition from your academic background in Design to Healthcare?

Since your experience is relatively on the lower side, I would suggest a FE score of 685+ to compensate for it.

Good luck!

No one knows except Head of Admissions. All I can say is do not stress about it. I mean it. Thanks

When it's a tie in all respects then will both candidates get selected?

Or are there tie breakers? 😬

Dude seriously.

Do ask the interview panel the same question.
I had asked during the online session
No one replied 🙂

Hope someone ask it in live session and post here

I’d appreciate your thoughts on my profile for PGP.
Profile Snapshot:

Academics: 9/8/8.31 (10th/12th/Grad CGPA) from Thapar
Work Experience: ~4.5 years as a product manager in two of the big MNC’s
Current Role: Leading SaaS product development
International Experience: 3 international internships ( 2 in Research universities and 1 in a startup ) all 3 US Based.
Extra Co-Curr : International research paper, Head of Formula team, Head of AIESEC Marketing, VP Entrepreneuship cell, two times Hackathon winner and a couple of more stuff in college.
Short-Term Goal: Transition into a strategic product leadership role
Long-Term Goal: Grow into a Chief Product Officer (CPO) role
GMAT: (GMAT FE 555 - Had given earlier without any prep because i had to move to and fro in europe due to corporate work)
Would love to hear how this aligns with typical admits and what I could do to strengthen my chances. Thanks in advance!

Can someone evaluate my profile for ISB

10 - 9.4cgpa
12 - 78.4%
Btech - 7.38cgpa
GMAT - 655

Work Ex :
4 years as a Linux Engineer at Ericsson
Part of 8 projects, dealing with international clients (Africa, Dubai)
High stakes role
Undertaken few unofficial managerial tasks
1 promotion

Extracurricular :
Head of college society
Organised multiple events
Participated/won multiple tech events throughout India
Member of blood donation orgs since school
Member of NSS since school
Hi WA@blv2414, You have decent extra curricular. As you have mentioned you have handled high stake role, so its assumed that you will have good story points for the impact that you have created in your career. The academic side is okay. You may need to cover that up with slightly higher than average GMAT. Generally 655 is a decent score. If this is the final one in your own assessment, then go ahead with application with focus on bringing out impact in your current role and how you wish to use that in your future goal. Else, try for some 10-20 points improvement if possible. Otherwise profile is good enough.
Best Wishes.

Hi iamVD, You are already a product manager with 4.5 years of work experience in MNC with good international exposure. Extra curricular are really great. Academics is also good enough. The question which admissions team would like to potentially understand will be your need of an MBA and overall value of MBA for your goals. You should focus on bringing out this clarity in your application to better your chances. As compared to typical admits, infact profile is on a better side. A clear thought process will be the expectation from a person of your credential, which you should focus in expressing during your post GMAT stage. From GMAT perspective, anything above 645+ will be competitive enough. Best wishes.
