I will help people however I can but its not like I have any spectacular insight at the moment, I am no Rhyme. My interview was mediocre in my opinion, so that wont be much help.

I hope everyone has as much good fortune as I have had, this feeling is great. Considering the success that GMATclub has had thus far with interviews and acceptances mine is the first of many Kellogg acceptances.

A BIG congrats dude...you have set the precedent and hopefully, we will all get the acceptances soon. For now, just unwind and relax ......Kellogg is a great school and you should feel proud to have cracked in. Just do not worry about other decisions now.....
Happy days and All the very best to the rest of us awaiting decisions.

There is one more school nearby. They say it's good :-) and with profile like yours, you might get lucky again. Worth taking a shot.

My wife just called (she is christmas shopping), she asked what was wrong cause I am still shaking from this...its actually pretty funny. I said nothing and didn't tell her. I am going to play her the voice mail to break it to her...I guess thats one great thing about being on a walk with the dog without my cell phone.

Awesome!!! Now you can withdraw from GSB and open up a spot for the rest of us .

Sadly I am still torn between GSB and Kellogg...in a lot of areas I think Chicago is the better fit. We will see, hopefully I will have to decide between different schools. If I do a spot will be open for the R2 applicants at some school.

River, it's funny you say that. I was just thinking that about you when you posted getting into Kellogg yesterday. I know ncprasad's crystal ball is more famous around here but me thinks you will get into GSB too. :)

Updated Status on Kellogg wrote:
Congratulations! You have been admitted to the Kellogg School of Management. You will receive your official admit letter and additional information via postal mail. We commend you on your personal and professional accomplishments, and we look forward to welcoming you to Kellogg.

Sincerely,

Beth Flye
Director of Admissions and Financial Aid

As a reminder, if you have not submitted official copies of your transcript(s), you must mail them to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible. Students who have not submitted official copies of their transcripts will not be eligible to participate in key fall activities.

I guess I better send an official transcript request to my UG. Today is a great day at work...I was afraid I wouldnt get in anywhere and would walk around here for the next 30 years with people making jokes about my failed b-school attempt.
