Some people say March 7th, some say March 14th...

The last batch of interview invitees have to finish interviewing by the 11th so I am guessing that the 14th is more likely.

Got a phone interview invite a few hours back too. had pretty much given up on Kellogg.

Any idea whether the timing matters? Does getting a late invite mean anything? Anyone with info of acceptance ratio of ppl interviewed after an initial waiver :) i know thats way too many questions

But most importantly if someone can share some details on phone interviews or point to some place where there is such info . will be a big help

Thx iin advance

I am in the same boat with phone interview after waiver. You are microanalysing, looking at acceptance ratio of ppl interviewed after an initial waive is a waste of time.

You got an invite, prepare and nail it. There are folks who got admitted after initial waiver and late interview. Check out the previous posts (Late Nov/early Dec) in this thread about interview Qs. nothing ventured, nothing gained

i suppose it will be later than Mar. 11.

I will have mine on Mar. 13. This date is still within 21 days upon reception of the interview assignment.

You may want to think about moving that up. It sounds like you scheduled it for that date on your own based on the generic email they sent when assigning you an interviewer (interview must be 21 days from notification). If they are telling other people to schedule by March 11, I would try to do it before that.

With this late wave of invites, I get the feeling that Kellogg is trying to interview everyone they can.

But, agreeing with the earlier posts it makes sense to not overanalyse but give the best to the interview.

My telephone interview is scheduled for march 10th. I need some information:

1. If AdCom will take the interview, will it be blind interview based on only resume?
2. There is no skype involved ..right ?
3. How long does the interview lasts generally?

Also, I feel that it is a challenge to communicate effectively over the phone, since there is no way to get any non-verbal cues from the interviewer. Any suggestions on that?

It will be my first telephone based interview, so not sure what to expect. Please share your ideas.

Good luck to all of you interviewing! I'm anxious for Kellogg to start releasing decisions for US applicants.

Indeed - its almost more painful because I don't know when to expect the decision! Double edged sword....

what you said upset me :( I received the invite after an initial waiver. All I know is the "21 days" time restriction mentioned in the email. I've also checked it on Kellogg's website. Did not see any timeline referring to Mar. 11th.

Does any one know where the Mar. 11th date come from???

i think you stand a very very good chance..getting initially waived and then being called for interview means that the school is genuinely interested in you....just need to deliver on the interview....

holywater,

If you scheduled your interview with adcom they would have for sure let you know if it was too late for R2. Decisions will be rendered by March 28th so March 13th will certainly leave them enough time to review your application. Anyway, if you're really worried contact adcom.

If you got an interview after a waiver it comes through the Adcoms, they perform those interviews. So if they accepted a date as being ok then dont worry it will hurt you or keep you out. They would have told you we can't interview later than 3/11 if that was true.

Good luck
