R1 admits should be able to tell us if they noticed any correlation between decision release dates and {application dates / alphabetical order of names / interview date / location}. If there seems to be none, I think we'd rather relax (while biting our nails at the same time).

I don't believe there was any correlation in R1. I interviewed some time in November (exact date escapes me) and I heard on the first day of notification, while people who interviewed in October were still waiting. I heard that each admissions officer just gets a list of ppl to call and it depends how fast they go down the list, and in addition they are still conducting telephone interviews so a lot going on at once. Hard to not be panicked though, even with this info!

I agree. I interviewed some time in November and heard on the 4th day of calls. As much as we'd like to believe that there is a correlation, and as easy as it is to create one, it's effectively random. Congrats on all the admits!

I want an admit or a ding, I can't wait for long or receive another waitlist !!! Dammit, it's difficult to be able to concentrate for a possible GMAT retake and/or start a reapp for early decision/R1.
ahh got a missed call from kellogg admissions..they didn't leave any details in the message except that they wanted to share news with me. sure its a good sign, but still can't get a hold of them
how exciting!!! definitely the ''you're in" call!!! i had missed mine as well and had to call them back Congrats!

Are folks receiving the Admissions calls on their work, home, or cell phones? Also, anyone applying to the accelerated JD-MBA program hear from admissions yet?
For people who got calls, did people get an email afterwards? And did the username and password given over the phone work on the admitted student site?
