This is what too much free time will yield. To those interested, this is the break down of the decisions from R1. Who knows if R2 will follow a similar pattern but it's kinda interesting to look at. Results were spread out over 7 days with the majority of activity for admits and denials during days 3/4/5.

Didn't realize there had been that many. What are the numbers of dings and admits so far? Also, to someone else who asked. I think they don't make calls in the morning because they are busy deciding on the next batch of applications.

Well going by the trend of the last 2 days calls start around 1:00 PM EST.......... and the volume seems to increase around 4-5 PM EST, considering they r trying to finish the quota/list for the day......

I wonder if all the ding emails get sent at ~9am local central time or local time? Meaning...I'm in CA. Should I sh*t myself if I get an email at 9am PST... or I wonder if I'm safe for today?

Either way...I can't get ANYTHING done at work!

Thanks - I didn't realize the spreadsheet was updated already.

By my count there have been 18 admits and 9 dings (6 of which were today).

The emails seem to go out at the same time but the online application (for dings/waitlists) may get updated sometime during the night (3:00 am Eastern, based on R1 posts).

I believe the call is first - at least it was for me. I received a call, and was told that I would then receive an email, status update, and material in the mail within a few weeks.
