By any chance, has anyone checked with the office of admissions if Reapplicants are supposed to send in their GMAT score reports again even if the scores are unchanged?

As far as I could see in the application instructions, the only thing specifically mentioned for reapplicants is that only one LOR is required...

Would be nice not to resend GMAT score reports & transcripts to them..

After watching a few videos on GIM website it sounds to me like "gym". (note: I'm not a native speaker):)

After you submit part 1, you have to schedule your interview. It's an open invite.

You don't need to, since the question only asked why you need an MBA. However, it's always a good idea to re-emphasize why you're a good fit for the school.

If you're referring to scheduling off-campus interviews, while you can request an off-campus interview already I don't think the interview assignments have started going out yet. I do think you can schedule an on-campus interview as soon as you submit part 1 by calling the admissions office.

Guys,

I'm wondering how many majors we should normally select for the "Kellogg Proposed Majors" option in Part 1. I'm from a non-US school and not quite familiar w the system. Thanks!

Jerz,
I was also wondering about the majors. Do students typically tend to have more than one. There are two that I am really interested in and I would like to mention majoring in both as part of my Why Kellogg explanation. But if two majors is rare or doesn't happen I don't want to look stupid for saying it. Can you give us some insight. Thanks!

Regarding the majors thing..

Well I recently attended an admissions event where I got the opportunity to interact with several alumni..All the alums had a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 majors. There was not a single alum who had only 1 major. One alum actually tried having 5 majors but ended up with 4..

So, the answer is a definitive YES..you can have more than one major..

I think we might have been at the same admissions event. I will just cosign, several alumni I have spoken with have stated having multiple majors, avg. 2

I am in for Rd 1. Off campus interview so my deadline for Part I submit is Sept 22 :S Resume ready being polished by a couple of friends and family. *fingers crossed*.

Attended an information evening with Kellogg Alumns in Mumabi. Was really great. Got a chance to speak to an alumn and adcom personally. Makes a huge difference that they were brutally honest about the app process and life at Kellogg.

Guys, I'm looking to apply to Kellogg in R1 as well - working on wrapping up my essays at present.

However, I need to request for an off-campus interview and so I need to send over Part I of my application by Sept 22'nd. But the problem is that my GMAT test is scheduled for October 6th - is it possible for my to send over Part I of my application without the GMAT scores and have the official scores sent over in Part II itself? The only thing missing in Part I is my damn GMAT score :(

Any help would be really appreciated..thanks!

As per the application instructions PDF from the Kellogg application (applyyourself) website..

"Applicants should self-report GMAT/GRE scores in Part I of the application. If a test date is scheduled after the applicant wishes to submit Part I, the scheduled test date should be recorded in the GMAT/GRE Test section of the application. Updated test scores can be self-reported in Part II of the application."

Your answer is there right in the application instructions itself!! :)
