Anybody else received an interview invite for Round 3, especially the international applicants?

I just got one today.

What can I expect on my interview? Honestly did not even think I would get invited.

I got one too. Same here, didn't think I would get invited.

From a bit of Googling and reviewing the Interview Debriefs here on GMAT Club, I think the common questions they ask are:
1. Why LBS?
2. Why MIF instead of MBA?
3. What do you want to do after graduation?
4. Tell us about your long term goals.
5. What is your contingency plan if your Plan A for the program doesn’t work?
6. How can you use your current background in your future career in finance?
7. What electives do you plan to take?
8. What clubs/societies do you want to participate in?

I would also probably expect the usual competency questions - tell me about yourself, what motivates you, give an example of when you worked in a team, etc..

Hope this helps. I'm just as clueless as everyone else.

Hi! Congrats on the invitation! I applied to MAM on 23.01, still waiting for their response. Could you share how long did it take from the moment you submitted your application to the invitation?

Hi, thanks! I submitted the application on the 4th of Jan and received the interview invitation on the 25th of Jan. I think the timelines might be different for each programme so don't worry if you haven't received a response yet.

As oer the decision tracker (displayed on the first post), we have 5 applicants in R4 and none of them have received interview invites so far. Hopefully, the wait will over soon.

The R3 decision deadline is the 12th of March. I assume the adcom would finalise those decisions before sending out interview invites for R4.

Hey guys, does any know if the former employer has changed organisation, is it good to still have him as a referee? The form for filling in the referee details also does not specify if the title, organisation etc are referring to those of his current or previous role.

To the first question, I think it's still good to have him as a referee. As long as he is able to highlight your strengths and add value to your overall profile, it would be good to have him.

The second question, I'm not 100% sure. My guess would be his role when he worked with you - as this gives context to how he viewed you and shows the adcom the perspective he is coming from. But it might be a good idea to email the adcom to check with them. Or maybe check if they've mentioned this in the FAQ section of their website.

Hi,
I got an offer from LBS MiF. Although not having a GMAT score, I actually got a waiver for GMAT/GRE for LBS.
Currently awaiting decisions from other schools.

Good luck to everyone - I heard the programme is like 98% full. The competition is hard because of the pandemic, so all the best.

Hi, Has anyone requested for a deferral for the MiF programme considering the COVID-19 related uncertainty (restrictions in attending in-person and job market outlook) and how was it received by the adcom? Also, any idea about the no. of people who had requested for a deferral last year?

They way things are looking, the UK is the 2nd or 3rd best country to be in the world - when it comes to COVID-19 vaccination rate. Bojo has stated publicly that there will be no turning back and reversing course on the easing of restrictions that began over the past few months. "Do it once, do it right" has been his motto in regards to lockdowns.

The adcomms said there were a lot of deferrals from last year though...
