Are there any other admits lying around this forum? I got accepted two months ago after being waitlisted from R2 last year. Any idea when we get access to the LBS website?
I was curious about the percentage of folks applying in R1. Since I got an interview, I am trying to gauge my chances of actually getting accepted. Based on what I have heard, it does not appear that getting an interview basically means your in, however it seems like a good half or so of applicants got dinged already.

Anyone have any figures/guesstimates on this?

According to clear admit (estimate), about 40% of applicants are interviewed each year.
I think that the true percentage might be less given the format of the LBS interview. Most schools seem to have much shorter interviews (30-60mins) whereas LBS interviews tend to take around 2 hours. My interview took 2.5 hours and my friend's interview took about 3 hours! Imagine the workload for the interviewer to process all the notes/feedback for the adcom from such an interview.
interviews for R1 must be slowly coming to an end..... had mine last week..not fabulous, but pretty ok I think..... now the painful 3-week wait has started....
Hmmmm, I dont think so. Though I did get my interview invite email a day earlier. My personal guess is that it will be released on Dec 16 and not earlier...
One of the contributors, Angela, was the Head of China Operations for Sony Ericsson. Haha jesus, why is she even in school? She can probably be a professor!
I don't know about others, but if there is no separate thread, you are welcome to join this one. After all, if all goes well, we will all end up at the same school just different degree programs.
yeah enkie, very impressive profile.... as far as i can see, she is in the Sloan programme...(which focusses on such successful executives)....... .......who knows, maybe you´ll also come back to school (again!) in a few years...

Looking at some of the student blog contributors -- it is a seriously impressive list!

First post updated with some additional tables and info on LBS - any suggestions what else to add, please PM me or enkie.

Thanks for updating bb! I also added a link to ClearAdmit's London Business School interview debriefs. I personally found it very helpful when I was prepping for my interview.
Enkie did you get your interviewer's details fast? I got my invitation on Dec 1 and still hadn't heard from them. Taking into consideration that I need to travel to make the interview... Or I'm at the edge of nerveous breakdown because of this time that passes ssssoooo slowly
