As far as I know proposal of replacing the H-1B lottery and even the per-country cap on employment-based green cards with a system that prioritizes wage level and talent instead of randomness or nationality.

Well again if its going to be decided by wage level then doctors consultants and Investment bankers will be first in line

There is a hard annual limit on employment-based green cards in the U.S. Roughly 140,000 employment-based green cards are available each fiscal year across all categories (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-4, EB-5).

If selection shifts to wage/talent, that reallocates the same limited slots. So higher-paid, senior folks (think 2010 cohort) are likelier to clear first, while newer grads/juniors get pushed back. If per-country caps are removed without raising the total, the queue just becomes first-come, highest-wage—not bigger—so the crowd-out risk is real.

lol marriage based GC interviews so intense these days

They asking what side of bed you sleep
Can you tell your bathroom floor color

One need to file so much evidence even in genuine cases

Another big question is how private education loan vendors (like Credila) will react. Since they’re the lifeline for international students taking large loans, uncertainty around visas/employability could push them to raise interest rates or tighten terms to hedge risk.

Underwriting may shift from just “admit letter = loan approval” toward deeper checks: school ranking, job placement history, co-signer strength, and maybe even sector focus

Prodigy is the only one that gives without cosigner

Which is case for majority

MBA schools will have alot of budget for round 2 maybe now so perhaps for sake of diversity some scholarship increase for the few brave internationals who still willing to risk it

Prodigy is not a bank. It’s a specialty fintech lender
It raises capital from global investors (hedge funds, PE, sovereign wealth funds) and through securitizations of its loan book. its cost of funds depends on investor appetite and credit markets, not on central bank deposit rates. That’s why macro shocks (trade wars, student visa issues, tariffs, interest-rate cycles) can influence its pricing more directly.

Yes its not bank i meant for most internationals that's sort of the only real lender available since not possible to find co signer in states for alot of us

The interest rate is very high however at 14 percent so big loans big risk if one doesn't land a good job or big scholarship
