According to the SDM admissions page, decisions will be made by May 5th (next Friday), but my deferral letter stated May 3rd.
My I know what is the deferral letter you are referring to? I checked my one received on Feb and it did not mention any dates there

Some round 1 applicants got a letter that stated they were not accepted in round 1, but after round 2 they might be considered admission.

I think it doesn't bode well that we have not received status updates. From previous posts, it seems they aren't prompt to update reject statuses.

Anyway - can wait till 5th. If anyone ends up writing to adcom for clarity let us know!

Not sure. After logged in, there should be a SDM link on left of "Submitted", clicked this link will direct you to application status page.
