Just saw that the application opened for MLT MBA Prep (traditional) and after reading last year's thread I got pretty excited :)

So comparing this year's application guidelines to last year's thread, it seems like they're being stricter about official GMAT scores being submitted with the application rather than by the final (January 5th) deadline. Is that how other people are interpreting it?

Right now my GMAT is scheduled for late October, which essentially means I can only apply by round 4 (if my interpretation is correct), which is a bummer. I feel like this rule incentivizes people to rush to take the GMAT rather than taking the proper time they need.

Agreed 100%. I originally wanted to submit Round 1 and take the exam in November, but now I shifted everything a bit earlier and I'll try to get it in in late September. We'll see how that goes...

I know they have a webinar coming up so I'm hoping they will explain what the expectations are this year compared to last year

Hmm that's disappointing. I think this is going to substantially shift the distribution of applications to rounds 3 and 4. I wouldn't even be surprised if they end up extending deadlines eventually. Not that this thread is necessarily indicative of overall interest, but last year's thread was quite active by this point while this year's is just you and I.

Hey everyone! I'm in the process of applying for MLT this year. Last years thread was very insightful, here are my stats and profile:

3.5 GPA - small Michigan school
Taking the GMAT late October - thinking the score will come around 580-600
5 years of work experience. I started off as a technical recruiter and now I work in B2B Internet sales for a large social media platform.
I'm waiting to hear back on my application for the LEAD Program at work but I have lead multiple ERG groups at work little volunteer experience

Need advice! Would like to go to b school fall 2023 meaning I would have to apply to this round of MLT. I am not scoring a good gmat score and need a few more months of studying. Should I still apply?
