I took GMAT past saturday. Had a disappointing score of 660 (Q50, V30). I was consistently getting in the range of 700-720 in GMAT prep,
MGMAT, Knewton. My verbal score was very shocking when I saw it. I usually get in the range 36-38. I was quite composed throughout the exam and was doing great on timing as well. It was around Q30s in verbal that I realize that I have screwed up big time because suddenly there were 3-4 very easy questions.
I was planning to apply at ISB, INSEAD but going by this score, chances are fairly slim. This exam really brings your confidence down if you don't fare well at it. I am still getting over the score. Now, I am planning to change my strategy and look in to part time mbas as well (such as Stern, Duke etc.).
Though I am curious if anyone knows whether part-time mba from these colleges boost your profile if I am looking to relocate to India few years later. Thanks and best wishes to all. Hope you guys don't screw up like I did.
Cheers,
