How recent was your old application? I previously applied 3 years ago and I alluded to it in my essays, but I don't think they will take out your old application for review - they will look for you to tell them what has changed though.

Right - no Essay 2, but you do have a Re-applicant Essay to explain what has changed with regard to your candidacy.

Same! Part of me thinks that isn't great news... but trying to be optimistic!

First, remember they have been out of the office for the past two weeks for the holidays, so no one has heard anything. Also, many people, including myself heard about an interview closer to the deadline, within two weeks. So you all still have a month and a half. Don't worry too much!

That's true! How's your decision-making process going? Waiting for more to come through or taking Kellogg/Tuck?

Right - no Essay 2, but you do have a Re-applicant Essay to explain what has changed with regard to your candidacy.

You are right too. But I am wondering if they see my old application , I don't want to repeat same stuff that I wrote last year in Essay 1 :)

I think it went generally well. I babbled on the why this industry question (and I beat myself up over it for days), but the rest of the questions I nailed. Nothing out of the ordinary. All relating to my application and general interview questions. I think I just had to get my nerves out and then I did well.

Guess we'll see!

Ughh I was 12/16. I just want to know!! NYU is basically the last school I'm waiting for, Haas is a basic ding now and I'm withdrawing from UCLA.

I kind of knew that this was going to be the outcome when i gave my terrible interview...but still was hoping that i would at least just get WL.
And yes, i only applied to two schools. I don't know what i was thinking and now that R2 apps are due in just days, i don't think i will be able to pull off another application.

I am really beating myself up for this...for the terrible interview, and for the fact that I didn't prepare for more apps.

But at this point i can i can only wait until next year (no reason to apply in R3?) and use this time to build a better profile....

Sorry mbahopeful. You'll get them next year, and now you know more about what the process is like. This makes me even more nervous, due to my babbling in the interview.
