You should get an email soon saying: "Thank you for applying to NYU Stern. We have received your application and look forward to reviewing it." A few people have gotten their verification email. I got mine today so I suspect they will start rolling out over the next few days.

Interesting that the wait is so long for interview invites. A friend of mine applied last year and was invited for an interview in mid-December. He was already accepted @ CBS so he declined, but still, he only had about a 4-5 week wait from submission to interview invite...

At the info session I went to the adcom members said "invites can come as early as mid-Dec"

Hi everyone, I got this message too yesterday(29th Nov) from NYU. 'Thank you for applying to NYU Stern. We have received your application and look forward to reviewing it.'

I finally got confirmation they received my application this morning. I was looking at last year's Stern thread and it looks like the majority of R1 interview invites went out between the 9th and 22nd of December. Most of the offers of admission were about two weeks after the interview date. Hopefully we'll start hearing back in the next week or two!

Finally, got an email this morning saying that the application is complete.

We do provide any initial notification deadlines as to when can applicants expect us to get back to them, but usually that’s the latest possible date and we try to get out our initial notifications as soon as we have them ready.
