*The interview broadly covers three areas:*

*1. Your post-MBA plan (this is the big one)*
Stern cares a lot about placement, so they'll dig into your goals in detail:
→ What's your recruitment plan? Walk them through the full journey - clubs, networking, timelines, target firms
→ What's your Plan B? If your primary path doesn't pan out, what companies and roles are you targeting as alternatives?
→ What's your summer internship strategy? Have a clear answer ready

*2. NYU-specific fit*
They want to know you've done your research:
→ Which clubs are you joining and *why* (be specific, not generic)
→ How will you contribute to the Stern community?
→ If you mentioned a hobby or interest in your app - say music - they may ask which club you'd join for it, how you'd engage with it on campus, etc.

*3. Behavioral / leadership questions*
Standard but important - have 2-3 strong stories ready:
→ Tell me about a time you faced a crisis
→ Tell me about a time you received difficult feedback
→ These are classic STAR-format questions, so structure your answers well

Hey, can you please help me with 1 on 1 session with stern adcom which starts at 11am pst

I am looking for it but it seems they actually did not confirm the 11am session

so the Stern session is today only and no 1-on-1... but I see others if that helps - Fuqua, UNC, Ross, Rotman, Johnson, IESE, Judge, and a bunch of others but unfortunately don’t see Stern in the schedule - sorry about that.
