Has anyone already registered for their Ross interview?
At the top of the page it says "You may select from phone or in person interviews. Each interview slot is noted as one or the other."
I don't see any which are marked as phone interview, and all of the slots have the location at the admissions office, so I am assuming they're all in person interviews?
Anyone have any insight before I accidentally sign up for a phone interview!?
Thanks!

I didn't notice that when I signed up, but sure enough it says that. There are some that have an E2540 in the location and some that do not...but I'm guessing there is something that we're not seeing when we do the search.

For what it's worth, I signed up for one with an E next to it and my confirmation seems to indicate that it's on campus. I guess I'll hope for the best :-D It might be worth checking with them.

I may have interpreted the interview instructions differently, but the top of my invite had the following:

Step 1: Determine your interview option.
Option 1- Interview on campus in Ann Arbor.
Option 2- Interview with an alumnus in your area.

So the way I read it is that you can either a) interview on campus, b) interview with an alumni in your area, or c) if you cannot do either of the above you need to send an e-mail and (presumably) request a phone interview.

I don't think you can use the scheduling system for on campus interviews to arrange a phone interview. The note about phone and on-campus interviews on that site seems a bit misleading.

I'd recommend checking with the admissions staff, though, since I could be completely wrong.

Hi all,

I am a reapplicant here. Just had my Ross interview. was around 45 mins.

The Alumni was very friendly and the interview was more like a conversation. We had similar backgrounds and thus it made it easier to explain as to why i need a MBA now.

The usual question were asked like

Why MBA? Why Ross?
How will you contribute to Ross community?
Any ethical dilemma you faced at work or outside?
Personal achievement?
What are you most passionate about?
etc

The interview went nice, though not my best. ( Was coming off work, and had a huge headache. And towards the end of the interview, i was trying to control the pain, and hoping it did not show on my face :-)).

all the best to everyone else out there in their interviews.

It seems that Ross has not released interview invites since the last week. Has anyone received the invite during such period? I am waiting for the invite too. :(

I was going thru last year's thread and it seems that Ross sends invites in 3 or so batches, each batch spanning around 3-4 days.. people dont get invites for days and then suddenly, everyone pops up with an invite in a span of 2 days... So I guess the next batch hasnt been released yet...

Has anyone called the Ad comm? Can't we find it from them about the status of next batch?

5 to 10% is fine.But don't do it for all essays.Adcoms don't count the words though. :)
