if anything, it'll go down. our class size was larger than intended and it wouldn't be good if we had a larger student body.

does anyone know if Ross has increased its class size?

I think due to the surge in applications last year,their class size went upto 500.It was not intentional though.Their yield went from 70% to 79%.They din't expect so many admitted students to finally matriculate.This year,they might have admitted fewer students than last year to bring the class size back to 450.

Hey all!

Was pleasantly surprised to see that I was waitlisted as well. Pleasantly surprised because I didn't receive an interview invite! Does anyone have any experience with getting an interview in R3 after being waitlisted in R2 and no interview invite? Thanks... greatly appreciated. Good luck to all the waitlisters. Myself included. :-D

That happened last year too. They will invite you to interview in R3.

Is this a given? Adcom wrote me and said they do waitlist people who did not interview and they may interview these people in R3 or in the summer. Not sure why they would place someone who did not interview on the WL as opposed to ding! so my impression is that I will definitely interview... but their response seems to leave the possibility that may not be the case.

Did you go through this last year? By the way, congrats!

Some of those folks are adcom members, and I think there are some current students who are registered in that group as well to provide some additional moderation/2-cents (though I don't think they're posting yet).

You should just wait for the invite. From what I've seen all ppl waitlisted without interview are interviewed in R3.

I haven't received it, either. Was actually wondering about that, since it's taking a while to get here. I think I may have to accept the offer and put down the deposit online. Too bad my bank account has less than $1,500 in it, so I have to wait till pay day. FML.

It basically walks you through everything you need to take care of in the months before school starts. There's a checklist. It's a bit advertisey, but also full of useful info on housing, student life, etc. You can pay your deposit online through Wolverine Access, but there's also a send-in-a-check option.

Not a huge fan of background checks. Not that I have anything to hide; it's just that I don't like it when someone does a background check on me. Feels weird. But I guess in today's society, it's unavoidable.
