Still anxiously waiting! Good to see at least a few people turning down Ross this year, although I fear yields still appear quite high. Deposited at my second choice and will hope for positive news next week! Good luck all fellow WListers.

Yeah I think the general consensus is movement will begin over the next several weeks with R1 & R2 checks due May 1 and R3 acceptances reported by May 15th. Really after Saturday, Adcom will have a pretty good sense of yield and how the class is shaping up, so I would expect movement (positive and negative) on the wait list at that time.

I just withdrew my application. For those out there still on the WL, keep your fingers crossed.

It was a very difficult choice for me as I really liked the school, the program and the people I met there.

Good luck for everyone going there for the 2012 class!

Wouldn´t it be nice if we could just call dibs when somebody withdrew? That would at least make incessant checking of this message board more relevant. Good luck to fellow WL and to R3 apps with May 1 and May 15 approaching respectively.

Had my interview a couple days ago... On campus, met with an admissions director

Walk me through your resume/
Talked about a specific project, how I displayed leadership/
What are your goals/
Why do you want an MBA now/
How does Ross fit in these goals/
Questions?

That was it. Went about 25-30 minutes. I thought I did well. I hit all of my points and spoke confidently and demonstrated real knowledge of my goals and the school. I couldn't get a read on the admissions director though. She nodded her head a lot and I think I asked a good question about how the students juggle between the multitude of clubs/activities and the intense course load, especially since she was a Ross alum... other than that, no indication of how it went. I wish they would give you feedback!

She gave me a little bit of insight on the WL situation. She basically said everything is done on a rolling case by case basis and we WL'ers can hear back anytime from now through August. That doesn't make me feel any better but at least there is a definitive timeline! Good luck to everyone out there waiting and hoping to join those who have already decided on Ross. :banana

How are WLers doing now? Any calls made to anyone? I would assume that the adcom now has a decent idea about number of ppl coming in.

I've heard nothing yet. It had been silent on the Google group and obviously here. I guess adcom is focused on R3 applicants for the most part this week as their responses are due the 15th. Maybe some news next week or the week following.

Also, while admittedly not a perfect proxy, the Ross yield on the GMAT Club appears very high.

Prof Linda Lim from Ross emailed me stating Ross's outstanding yield rate. According to her, Ross's yield rate is 2nd among the top business school, with Stanford coming in 1st.
It seems that Ross marketing has been a tremendous success in targeting specific student-type.

Nope. Are they still giving away scholarship money? If that's the case, I may want to give them a call.

I believe so. I think they will try to reach you by phone, unless you're international, and there's a large time difference, in which case they will send you an email.
