One of the pieces of information you'll find in the transcript is that your professionalism and judgment while you're on the waitlist are part of our decision process. This goes for applicants too. We know you're interested in Ross by virtue of your application to us. There's no need to send us emails (or insist on meeting with us) to remind us of that fact.

R2 Interviews: interview invitations go out on a weekly basis and will continue to go out through mid-February. Given that we review applications before we send out the invites, it will take some time for us to get through all of them. We appreciate your patience.

Given those two statements, I would not e-mail them at this time just because you haven't heard anything. Lots of people haven't heard anything.

Angelwrath, Class 2012 and I got the request for UG degree proof on the same day. Hence i am sure our applications are piled together........

I also got a Degree request, although not sure if it was only UG, or was it Grad, or both. I got a confirmation today that my

Hi,

I have been admitted to Kellogg and Ross and trying to make a decision between the two. My functional interest is in pursuing venture capital or general management in the clean technology industry. I am also interested in having a strong brand that has a widespread recognition within the U.S. and globally.

Would appreciate it if the forum can weigh in on the choice with their reasoning.

Congrats! Both schools are awesome and you really can't go wrong with either one....

Michigan has a really good sustainability program - you should check out the The Frederick A. and Barbara M. Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise there.
You have the Sam Zell center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Ross, which I believe allows students to manage a venture capital fund.

Kellogg I think probably has a more established versions of both - it was one of the first schools to do experiential-learning program, with its venture capital labs etc and actually started the first international program with a group of Kellogg students going to the former Soviet Union to study.

I am actually going to interview there next Monday. Both school are rock stars in management consulting, which I might do if I get accepted either at Ross or Kellogg.

Just got my interview invitation! Yay!

Er... apparently I only have 13 days (it says I must do my interview by Feb. 17th). That's kind of short notice to make plans to get to Ann Arbor from SE US.

Just got back from a trip to Ann Arbor....

I arrived Tuesday night, and scouted out the admissions office as well as the building. The building is really incredible. I don't think pictures really do it justice.

The next morning I had my interview at 8am with a second year. It was a pretty laid back interview, with all the basic questions, Why MBA, Why now, Why Ross, and a few teamwork questions. He left a lot of time for me to ask questions which was nice.

After the interview I met up with the VIP group. Again, we were able to ask more questions to students and I really believe we got candid and objective responses. We then went on a tour of the building (again, the building is awesome...I love everything about it) after which we were able to attend our class. I decided to attend a strategy growth class rather than one of the core classes. Honestly, I could have sat there for hours...the professor was awesome, and I loved the subject matter.

Overall it was a great experience. I have to say that you really do have to come to Ann Arbor and visit the school to get a good feel for what this place is about and to meet the students...

I got mine just after noon ET. Earlier today (before I got the e-mail), I was looking for the times that people got theirs last Thursday, and it looked like they mostly came between 10 and 1 ET.

you should definitely talk to students on the frankel fund at Ross. Among other industries Frankel invests in cleantech startups so students on that team get great exposure to dd and emerging cleantech tehonologies. Pm me if you'd like to speak to any students on the cleantech team on frankel.
