Haven't heard of any, and staring at my phone willing it to ring doesn't seem to be helping much. Guess they were pretty vague in last week's blog post for a reason...
Comparing Super Saturday, last year there were around 70 people, this year 52... Could we use this as a trenda and assume that RD 1 volume has decreased?

Perhaps. Someone previously said that the acceptance for those interviewed would be higher this year a few pages back on the forum. I am not sure on the basis of the claim though.
Before Friday's blog update I was putting my money on Wednesday based on what happened last year, but the specific mention of "early next week" makes me think there's a good chance it could be tomorrow... Guess we'll just have to wait and see.. In any event I hope all of us will be getting good news soon!!

I think that was based on a sampling of members on the roll call for round 1 vs the number of members who were interviewed. I'm not sure that's representative. That said, I think round 1 acceptance percentages are traditionally slightly higher than round 2 or 3. Let's hope so...

agreed thats why i personally believe its better to apply R1
Any idea what the accepted/interviewed rate or interviewed/applied rate is? I've looked and haven't found these stats anywhere. It just seems like there were so many candidates interviewed in round 1. I think the interview may be the weak spot on my application, so I'm anxiously awaiting a phone call this week to calm my nerves.
I'm not sure how accurate the numbers are, or if there are differences between rounds, but 61% were interviewed in 2010 and 25% were accepted. That gives you about a 41% acceptance rate for interviewed candidates.
