maybe they send the emails out...in bunches per hour? who knows!!

Hmmm, could anyone else confirm if they received their email at 1:44ish like the other poster. If they are all sent out at the same time then I will get back to work and wait for Batch 2, if not I guess I can resume "refresh, refresh, refresh, glass of water, bathroom" the cycle

Can some of the R1-ers chime in on their interview experiences? Given that the interview invite has arrived just a couple of weeks after submission, is it fair to assume that the application has not yet been reviewed in detail?

No superdays in my invite- but there is the option to attend a women's event and interview on the same day..

I'm not sure about the experiences of Rd-1 admits, but it is clear that the interview is blind- that is- the interviewer has not read your application. After your interview evaluation is submitted to adcom, your entire application is reviewed again by the adcom (so it doesn't matter whether they have read the essays before the interview invite or not)

I got a confirmation mail that my application was complete just this Friday. I dont think I can assume a call this monday. Can people who got invites let us know when you received your confirmation mail?

I don't think there's a relation between the two, but I'm in the same boat as y'all: received email from Ross on Friday (not sure whether that meant application went complete) and no invite today.
