Look, I'm as incredulous as everyone else. The email I just got clearly says "your decision will not be available until March 8." The only reason I even set up the Wolverine account was because I saw someone here had gotten a decision.
Like each of us here, I'm sure, I've been tempted to post bogus notifications of notification - but I don't act on it because I'm not that kind of sociopath's sociopath. This is no exception.
I am not allowing myself to get worked up because it does not feel official. I know that sounds smug - but it's really just a defense mechanism because it would be crushing to latch on to this and have it taken away. We've all heard of the erroneous acceptance emails that get sent out every year to aspiring undergrads, and this just feels a bit too flimsy to push those thoughts from my mind.
The only thing I was trying to communicate was that the first notification was not a hoax. I have nothing to gain by lying about it.
