@lufesouza: it's the same guy from the "pomade" and "degage".

With his verbal skills, he doesn't have to submit an application.

He is like GMAT Chuck Norris: any adcom site automatically reports him as "admitted" when he surfs anywhere near the login page.

Thanks for that Yeltsina. A Chuck Norris joke can always lighten the mood.

Look, I'm as incredulous as everyone else. The email I just got clearly says "your decision will not be available until March 8." The only reason I even set up the Wolverine account was because I saw someone here had gotten a decision.

Like each of us here, I'm sure, I've been tempted to post bogus notifications of notification - but I don't act on it because I'm not that kind of sociopath's sociopath. This is no exception.

I am not allowing myself to get worked up because it does not feel official. I know that sounds smug - but it's really just a defense mechanism because it would be crushing to latch on to this and have it taken away. We've all heard of the erroneous acceptance emails that get sent out every year to aspiring undergrads, and this just feels a bit too flimsy to push those thoughts from my mind.

The only thing I was trying to communicate was that the first notification was not a hoax. I have nothing to gain by lying about it.

Hey... I dont think anyone thought you were smug or anything.. I tink it was just nervousness on the part of those who have not seen such a link.. the best thing would be for you to call the Adcomm and make sure of how you ought to interpret what you are seeing

It's the link to decision status that people are questioning, not that it's labeled Admit Term, I think they were just joking about that. :)

We're not questioning you at all. We just want to make sure that everything is clear. It could be that AdCom is uploading decisions over the next few days and you're one of the lucky people who gets a call tomorrow or Thursday.

However, just to be clear ... Your application status page contains a link to "View Decision"?

Welp....I clicked on the "New and Prospective Students" tab and it prompted me to log in, so I entered what I thought was my username and password wrong 3 times, and now I have to contact a system administrator to be able to long in. Dammit.

Sorry for coming off as defensive. I'm just in a weird place right about now.

You guys just don't get it: AdComs don't admit BabyBeagle: BabyBeagle admits himself.

Well, that was a lot of fun. How come BabyBeagle didn't post a screengrab yet? Just smudge all the sensitive info in paint or something.

To confirm, I have the same thing (three link options) when i click on application status: View Application, Data View Credentials, and View Decision.

The reason why I went to to board to ask was to see if I was alone in this or other people were in the same boat and had anymore insight that I perhaps hadn't received yet. With so much anxiety in the process, I did not know what to think and to be honest still don't. And it never crossed my mind to post something solely to get others worked up, it was really an effort to calm myself down and see what else people had to say and see what if any resolutions may be out there. This whole process has done a number on my nerves.

You must be BabyBeagle's baby brother!

I'll bet your decision letter came on macclesfield print background too!

I actually did try calling a little bit ago, I was trying to hold off but then only got voicemails and did not leave a message. I will be sure to post an update if I get one. Trust me I want the update. This is not as transparent as I had hoped, much prefer if things happen just as they say they are going to.
