It's weird that nothing's mentioned on Soojin's blog. In the past, she usually posts something a week before the decision date, giving people a heads up.

I'm guessing that they're not feeling like rock stars right now or rushing to update their blog. The fact that they're calling these "preliminary admits" is kind of funny and suggests to me that they're embarrassed over their little notification system snafu.

yah, if you saw an admit notification your admitted in my book. I highly doubt the decision is preliminary. the big questionmark is what about the rest of us?

I think I counted 7 or 8. Really not that many considering how many R1 admits were reported here back in Jan and how many R2 interview invites have been reported here over the past 6 weeks or so...

I'd be curious to know what their last name is. Mine starts with C and another guy I know his last name starts with A.... I guess it's probably pointless to try to figure out whether those "admits" were real or not, like one of the guys said in the previous posts, "why worry about things that are out of our control"

Anyhow, it still sucks if adcom sent the letter to the wrong people :cry:

Just checked the board today for the first time. WOW! A solid 6 pages of controversy. Almost exciting as watching a Charlie Sheen interview. Hopefully, we will all be "Winning" shortly.
