Oh god! I was unable to attend two calls from Ross today and they have said they will give me a call tomorrow and this wait is just nerve wracking. It would be really terrible if I didn't get in :(. I am working hard on not rejoicing now!

I can say with 90% confidence that it was an acceptance call. I got a message telling me to call the director back. I did and we chatted. After that, she offered me admission. It was a really short call - less than one minute.

I'M IN!!!!!!!!!!! :yikes

Got the call while making lunch at work on the West Coast.
I was going to wait out as much as I could through the early summer until I had to look for housing in LA.
But, just so happy right now. The same admin. person that I met at a San Francisco information session called me :).

Anyone going to go to the rendezvous next month?

BTW, I was a round 2 applicant but was waitlisted without an interview. Then interviewed in round 3.
Oh and for those that wants to know....I visited the campus before applying during the round 1 application period, and I did not send any updates or additional material after being waitlisted.

No school will waste its time to call you if you aren't accepted! That would be pretty classless move if they did such as Lebron Jame's one hour BS show last year to say F*** you to his hometown team.

May 19th was after the round three notification (May 15th) last year. There weren't any waitlist calls before then. It also seems likely, given the short timeframe that this year's applicants have (May 13th-16th) to do deposits, that those calls and decisions were made after round three deposits were in. I don't think there's enough comparable info to make any conclusions.

Got the good news call today! I was on waitlist from 2nd round. I'm on east coast. I also didn't submit any application update. After the call I received an email with info about deposits due by the 16th.

AdCom person asked if I had already decided to attend another school and I said I hadn't made any final decisions because I was waiting to hear back on all applications first. She then asked whether Ross was my top choice or not which caught me off guard. I told her it was among my top choices and she seemed disappointed that I didn't say that it was my top. At this point I had no idea where the call was going but then she came out and told me I was admitted. Did anybody else get those questions before they were told the good news?

Well all my aps are now through, at 11 am est I got the call from an assoc dir of admission at Ross. We had a brief 10 min conversation about my interest in Ross. I believe she was trying to gauge my interest to see if I would accept. After chatting for a few minutes I got the offer followed up by an email! Good luck to all those still waiting. Go BLUE!

Ross is where I want to go! Ross is where I would go, if admitted. I am also willing to forego the initial deposit I've paid to another top program.

Now if only they call me to ask if Ross is my top choice and then offer the admit!

Then again, am I just hoping against all hopes...?
