Gaurav and Zohaib, I'm from India too and I've been waitlisted. Not to put a dampener on anybody's hopes here, but this year's chances of moving off the waitlist in a positive direction for internationals may be significantly lower than those of last year. Do not forget that the non US co-signor loan program for us has been discontinued. For the same reason, there could be more domestic applicants getting cleared off the waitlist and quicker at that.
Any advice on
a) What can be submitted as an update? That too by the 17th of Feb (that's the deadline for submitting an update for me and possibly, for the rest of you that have been aitlisted). I mean I'm at a stage in my job where I don't really see any big achievement coming up in the next one month; there may be some tid bits of achievements that I can talk about but I'm not sure if they really matter in the universe of MBA admissions. And I work with a start-up; promotions either don't happen too fast or/and as in our case, the heirarchy is such that I can't expect any anytime soon. Can't change my GPA and don't need to change my GMAT. Any advice, folks?
b) When can we realistically expect to move off the waitlist?
Would appreciate an update from anyone on the above.
