Good point, you'd think a university would be closed on MLK, but I guess I did receive an email from another university today.

So I got waitlisted without an interview, what does that mean, my app will be considered in R2? Edit: Corrected some spelling mistakes, I really should ease off on the caffeine.

I applied in R2. I thought you applied in R2 too.

Based on previous years experience, if you were waitlisted without interview, you should get an interview in the next round.

I think anyone who has not got an admit is either waitlisted or waitlisted without interview. Dont think there is a single reject.

I heard that R1 applicants who offered waitlist (with interviwe) are very near admit considering previous year's cases. I guess adcom wants to admit them after reviewing R2 applicant. We should not loose hope and continue effort to make additional appeals to adcom!

Well since you're wait list without interview, give it a little time for the R2 interviews to come out. If you don't get anything then you can contact the schools, but from past years wait list without interview mean you should get an interview.
