Had applied in round 1, had interview on October 9th with admission team and on October 12th with dean of career management, have not heard since then, waiting for a decision

Oddly enough the site says the decisions come out on Dec 20th which is Sunday... 😯🧐 that’s a bit unusual....

I've applied in R1. The decision is supposed to be out in the next 24 hours. I have admits from Simon, Terry, and Wisconsin with good scholarships but Rutgers is an option if they give better aid. Unfortunately, the best they did was 25% for the previous year's class so I'm not very hopeful.

Got the admit email at 4 AM today. They mentioned that scholarship notification will come in a week. According to the alumni, 25% was the best they did for international folks last in 2020 intake. So not really hopeful about joining Rutgers.

Thanks, Nikhil. I'm actually waiting on Olin, Mendoza, and Mason. Eventually, it's between Simon, Olin, and Mendoza. WHichever costs lesser. If the COVID situation doesn't correct itself by June, then I'll take the full scholarship+Assistantship at Terry. Not going to risk a single penny from the pocket.

Good day ,Sorry for delay in reply, my friend's father passed away, so was busy in that.

I did hear from Rutgers and my application was rejected.

Hi,

I was interviewed with Rutgers last week and was told I would be interviewed by dean of career management the present week but haven't received any response from him. I did write a mail to my original interviewer and he said he would be forwarding my mail. after two days I haven't received any response yet.

Should I consider this as rejection or should I be dropping another reminder e-mail? I was confused since the deadline was approaching. Any guidance on future course of action would be highly appreciated!

knasdak I understand your worry but you should NOT consider this as a rejection

Rejection is only when you get an official email about it. Please do not assume anything. You have already reminded them once. So, I would just give it another day or two and probably remind them early next week on Monday maybe?
