Their review process is probably random-ish so I wouldn’t read too much into my profile.

What I have going for me is I spoke to alumni, probably no one from my country attended Simon and my GMAT is above their range.

Simon does not share interviewer details. In fact even post interview, they will refer to the interviewer as interviewer, no name basis. But most like admissions committee member, will be a very friendly tone, I had mine about 2 weeks ago. They are looking to give you points rather than deduct points. So just be yourself, confident, and above all, agreeable.

Know the school well, why you'd prefer the school.

Especially do research on post MBA goals, my suggestion is to go the Linkedin page of Simon Business School. Go to the alumni section, and literally stalk as many people as you can, pick the people your goals are most aligned to in terms of industry, job role etc and have your answers ready accordingly.

These are my tips basis of my experience

I had the same experience. Very pleasant, friendly interviewer who was very happy to share further about how the school fits my goals. Seemed more like a conversation with a friend rather than an interview.

Just anticipate the basic MBA questions and you’ll be fine.
