hi there....could I please be added to roll call? Interviewed in early November. Thanks, and good luck, everyone!

Do you mind posting your profile and industry of work experience - that's a pretty excellent hit ratio!

sure thing--

F/US/Not URM/26 at matriculation/3.8 from top 5 UG/good amount of community service/non-profit background

honestly, I haven't heard of any females with 99th percentile gmats and good UG GPA who didn't get interviews at H/S/W...so I'm not sure how much credit I should be giving myself, versus my gender, for that hit rate ;)

You should be giving yourself credit for having a 99th percentile GMAT and a good UG GPA!

If you could add me to the roll call, that would be great. I interviewed on November 18th.

Hi all,

I've been a lurker for quite some time, but I've decided to throw my hat in the ring. I'm a R1 applicant and got an interview. Best of luck to all.

A question to those who have gone through the process in the previous years - would it be fair to presume that if one doesn't get a call from DB the day before the official decision date, that he/she is either dinged or waitlisted?

Thanks so much!

Yes, calinyc, that is largely correct. IIRC from last year, the only folks who heard from DB the day of D-Day were a handful of international or odd cases (one guy who was serving in Iraq, for example, and one who was in Israel). I think there also may have been a HANDFUL of west coasters who heard the morning of D-day. But almost everyone got a call the night before. And I never heard of anyone getting in w/o a phone call. Good luck all--we're almost there!!!

So hope the anxious waits are going well for the rest of you all. MbaBiden, if I can ask, it sounds like you know a lot about the gsb decision process. How are you so well informed?!? I guess I will now have my cellphone glued and on HIGH LOUD on the afternoon of the 15th.

Hi guys,

I'm applying in R2 for the Joint MBA/MS in Env. program. I had a couple of quick questions I could use your feedback on ..

1. I've elaborated in great detail my a) career goals, b) inspiration for this and c) relevant experience in the MS personal statement. (Which needs to be submitted together with the MBA app) Q is, What part of a/b/c do I particularly need to reproduce in my Career Goals essay, and in how much detail? Is it fair to expect the AdCom to cross-reference with my MS personal statement, or even read it? Is it ok to include something along the lines of .. "I request you to please refer the other doc for more detail"??

2. I want to know if everyone is generally following the 750/450/300/300 word guideline for the 4 essays? Because of the above, I want to know if I could use my Career Goals quota towards the other essays.

A quick note on my profile - 27/M, Indian, 680 GMAT (very low Q, very high V), 6 yrs fulltime work ex in Fundraising/Sales/Biz. Dev - 2 yrs with a nonprofit student org. in India, 1 yr with a Startup in Colombia, 1 yr with an MNC in Singapore and 2 yrs with same MNC in China. No special talents (except for an exceptional ability to bomb the GMAT Q)

Any feedback will help, thanks in advance!

Hi there, I'm working on my application for R2. Quick question for you guys. For question 3, did anyone notice that the "three year requirement" was only mentioned on the webpage and not on the actual application form?
