Decision online. Still waitlisted, but no update beyond that. I'm curious if people who applied in Rd 2 and were waitlisted could post the FAQ so we can see if anything changed in terms of numbers.

congrats to all who got in.

waitlisted :!:
better than openning up what I thought was a doo doo bag.
But probably just a courtesy doo doo bag; NO ONE gets off the waitlist

Anyone with good waitlist strategies??

Would you mind sharing the language from your waitlist notification? For R1 waitlist they gave the number of people in the waitpool, and I'm curious to see what the number is now.

I got the "still in the waitpool" notification, but was glad to see they gave a date that we'd receive our next update - 5/19.

Ding without interview here, too.
Not surprising. But still sad, alas.

And I'm out!

Wait, this was basketball season.

Game Over man, time to go get this phone fixed. Ah the skylight above my office helps. :)

Congrats to those that got in.

Also waitlisted w/ interview :(

Here's the FAQ:
How many people were place in the waitpool? How many will be accepted? Can you give me some historical data?

We understand your interest in trying to assess your “odds” of being admitted, and trying to quantify your situation in tangible terms. Unfortunately, these numbers are not reliable predictors of future offers of admission. In the past five years, we have had waitpools ranging from 75 to over 200 people. Some years we are able to admit a high percentage of those placed in the waitpool; some years that percentage is zero. It varies so dramatically each year — based on a host of ever-changing factors — that historical statistics are misleading.

This round, we selected approximately 70 candidates for the waitpool. As always, we hope to admit as many candidates from the waitpool as possible.
