Just got the call. He was VERY polite and kind.

However, for those of you waiting up anxiously, he said I was in his west coast stack by accident. So, don't take it as a sign one way or another if you haven't heard by tonight but aren't on the west coast -- he emphasized his lessons in manners say he shouldn't be calling this late, and it sounded like he had more calls for tomorrow.

Got the call at 11:20 GMT in the UK. Just hopped out of the shower, house was cold (snowing outside), and this caused my knees to shake a bit more. My hat is off to Mr. Bolton for staying up until 3AM making calls!

Congrats!!! Very impressive track record!

But I have to say I am a bit jealous: you hop out of the shower at 11:20AM on a Wednesday but managed to get into Stanford... What is your job? Can I have your recipe? :-D

Congrats to all who received calls from DB. Considering I'm on the east coast, a ding or WL is likely. Unfortunately for me, I was also WL last year, so this definitely sucks.

I have a feeling the essays were my main weakness; I actually didn't change too much from last year thinking this year was going to be less competitive. <- Def a poor strategy.

I've now been WLed at Wharton, Sloan, and Haas, and perhaps also Stanford, so I may be applying again; maybe I'll be that 3rd attempt Stanford MBA student! Peace!
