There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
i got the spam and almost had a heart attack when i saw "stanford gsb admissions" in my inbox. strangely it was not sent to the email address i had registered with my application (i used a special one for the app, and i received my interview invite as well as all other correspondence at this special address). the one at which i received the spam would only have been available off my resume, or possibly from my interviewer since i used it to correspond with her. so they must have entered it manually? strange...
Why is it taking them this long to finish what HBS finished a month ago. Is it all over for the people who are still waiting! Is it gonna be only dings from now on? or is a large invite gonna come in the next three weeks!!!

Well, I think that the general understanding of things is that Stanford builds a small class slowly and carefully. There are no waves, just a steady excruciating trickle.
